    About the team and the role

    We’re looking for an exceptional Buyer to manage part of the Fresh Produce category. In this role, you will hold commercial accountability for your categories, managing a complex global supply chain to deliver a market-leading range. You will help drive our sourcing strategy, cultivating resilient supplier relationships and utilising data to make fast, agile trading decisions that keep Ocado at the forefront of the market.


    What you’ll do

    Commercial Accountability

    • Be fully accountable for category P&L and deliver against all KPIs

    • Negotiate and execute complex, high-value Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with growers and importers that drive mutual growth and innovation

    • Utilise live data to make fast, commercially sound trading decisions, reacting quickly to market dynamics, weather events, and availability challenges

    • Partner closely with the M&S sourcing team to drive joint initiatives

    • Ensure zero GSCOP breaches. Always follow the Business Code of Conduct and act with integrity and due diligence

    Strategy, Range & Innovation

    • Expertly execute category reviews to refine the range, ensuring we are first-to-market with seasonal highlights and Ocado exclusives

    • Work closely with the Category Trade Planner to ensure best-in-class execution across all channels

    • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Technical teams to mitigate risks, ensuring best-in-class availability and product quality that meets Ocado’s standards

    Negotiation & Supplier Excellence

    • Have complex negotiations to agree upon and deliver market-leading Joint Business Plans that align with the customer plan and category strategy

    • Manage and review the performance of a complex supplier base, communicating and developing strong relationships to drive high engagement

    • Identify and create plans to mitigate potential issues/events that may impact the supply, and ensure product quality meets all Ocado requirements

    Who you are

    As a Category Assistant, you will provide administrative and commercial support to the Buying team for your category/categories. As part of the central Category Administration Team, you will also support the broader Buying team, as required. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and commercial tasks, with a key focus on accuracy, efficiency, and proactiveness to ensure the product range and trading plans are optimised to support the overall Ocado Retail strategy and goals.

    What you’ll do

    • Ensure all administrative tasks assigned by the Category Administration Manager are completed ahead of the deadline and managed as agreed between the Buyer and Supplier

    • Provide regular, clear updates to senior stakeholders on the status of administrative tasks, identifying any risks in advance and working to mitigate.

    • Work within critical path deadlines for all accountabilities, working at pace whilst ensuring accuracy.

    • Maintain and set up product listings and promotions

    • Supplier set up, onboarding, and management

    • Action price establishment/price changes

    • Media loading – review banners before ‘Go Live’ on the webshop

    • Assist the Customer Centre promptly with responses to customer queries.

    • Support with training on an ad-hoc basis.

    • Adhere to Ocado Retail values and comply with GSCOP and Competition Law.

    Who you are

    • Strong administrative skills – MS Office (including Excel)

    • Highly organised and able to manage changing priorities

    About the team and the role

    The CRM Executive role, working in conjunction with the CRM Manager and the wider CRM team, has responsibility for the day-to-day execution of our BAU schedule to meet Ocado objectives.

    Our executive must use a strong understanding of customer needs, an effective use of data and an ability to help create engaging and persuasive creative communications.

    What you’ll do

    • Ownership of various email campaigns, including but not limited to Meal Deals, New to Ocado, OcadoLife, Sustainability, and Weekly Email. Owning the process from end-to-end, briefing well in advance to Creative, working with key stakeholders to execute engaging weekly communications, building & deploying campaigns, reporting on the performance of campaigns and making recommendations on how to optimise future activity.

    • Ownership of Push comms and end-to-end process: working with the Trade Marketing team to create a calendar of comms, briefing copy, building and deploying comms.

    • Supporting the team with incentives and the creation of voucher communications to our customer base

    • Support the wider team on the fulfilment of other BAU communications.

    • Responsible for the weekly reporting on our BAU sends as well as commentary on any highlights and learnings.

    • Support the wider team with ideation on what a great customer journey looks like and help to deliver this.

    • Support the team in creating and implementing the test and learn plan, to help us further optimise communications.

    Who you are

    • Proven experience in a CRM role

    • Knowledge of mass-market ESPs like Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze; Braze experience a plus

    We are at an exciting moment in the development of the Ocado Retail business with a broad base of fundamental business change programmes underway which will create step changes within the business. With the successful implementation of the Ocado Smart Platform we are now focused on leveraging the opportunities this presents, and the Transformation team and delivery of effective change are fundamental to this.

    The Transformation team is responsible for planning, sequencing, and executing a portfolio of high-impact transformation projects across the business. The team is key to ensuring the organisation is prepared for upcoming changes, managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, and guaranteeing that business benefits are fully realised and changes are successfully embedded.

    The Change Manager reports to the Change Lead, forming a core part of the change function within the Transformation team. You will play a key role in collaborating with leaders across the business to develop and implement Ocado Retail’s change and transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for engaging with cross-functional teams to embed our change principles, ensuring the successful delivery of transformation programmes.

    This role will involve supporting change in high-profile projects. Your responsibilities will include stakeholder analysis and management, identification and management of change impacts, and the development and delivery of communication and training strategies to aid business adoption.

    What you’ll do

    • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure the effective adoption of new processes and technologies.

    • Manage stakeholder engagement, including gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and roadblocks.

    • Upskill and coach leaders and managers on best-in-class change techniques, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

    The Media Project Manager will work closely with the SFM Manager to lead the team to deliver media on time and in full, supporting the overall strategy to grow supplier funded media opportunities. In 6 months, you will leave a legacy by fundamentally changing how the UK’s largest online supermarket handles media.     What you’ll do

    • Map complex media lifecycles and architect automated end-to-end solutions.

    • Build out a delivery plan to ensure measurable changes are rolled out over the 6 month contract period

    • Oversee daily liquidity forecasting, investments, and Revolving Credit Facility drawdowns or repayments

    • Responsible for covenant management and reporting

    Who you are

    Essential

    • Exposure to Treasury operations and/or reporting

    • Qualified or studying towards ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) or another professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

    • Proficient excel skills, adept at spreadsheet compilation and analysis reporting.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to use technology and data effectively.

    • Comfortable balancing day-to-day with longer-term project responsibilities.
