    About the team and the role

    We are looking for a motivated individual who will be responsible for all areas of payroll for the business as well as supporting the central costs team with financial analysis & insight. You will be processing monthly & lunar payrolls for our head office & customer hub teams through our payroll system Cintra and building strong relationships with both internal & external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations. You will also have the opportunity to business partner with heads of department ensuring all people costs are within budget and to identify any opportunities and savings. You will be encouraged to review existing processes and drive continuous improvements across both payroll operations & central costs. The role will report to the Finance Manager.

    What you’ll do

    Monthly and Lunar Payroll:

    • Checking and processing new starters, leavers & amendments (bonus pay, pay increase, sickness, overtime etc.)

    • Checking and processing salary sacrifice schemes and deductions

    • Pension processing and support

    • Processing family leave agreements

    • Preparation of P11d’s and PSA (PAYE Settlement agreements)

    • General payroll related queries & supporting the People team with ad hoc queries

    • Liaising with accounting team on monthly journals & balance sheet reconciliations

    • Managing payroll controls & audit requests

    • Support with continued payroll project work & ad hoc analysis

    Finance Analyst:

    • Business partner with cost centre owners / heads of departments to ensure accurate cost control & forecasting of people costs

    • Liaise with the People team to ensure accurate cost centre mappings and people movements

    • Raising POs for the Transactional Finance team

    • Supporting the Finance Manager to review existing processes and implement improvements

    • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting

    Who you are

    • Strong experience of working with monthly & lunar payroll

    • Advanced knowledge of payroll processes, regulations and compliance standards

    • Knowledge of Cintra Payroll / Sage HR

    • Essential understanding of HR policies and processes related to payroll

    • Experience working with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar)

    • Strong Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot tables, Sumifs)

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

    • Great attention to detail and able to maintain high level of accuracy in their work

    • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines

    You will be joining the Enterprise Solutions Team as the technical authority and strategic leader for integration at Ocado Retail. This role is focused on high-level architectural design and oversight, ensuring our applications, platforms, and data pipelines work together securely, efficiently, and at scale.

    You will be instrumental in shaping our technology landscape, working on exciting projects that include defining our MuleSoft Anypoint Platform strategy and designing hybrid cloud architectures with AWS and GCP. This is a key strategic role where you will grow your skills in enterprise-level governance, strategic planning, and sophisticated vendor management

    What you’ll do

    Strategic Architecture & Design:

    • Define and enforce enterprise-wide integration standards, patterns (Pub/Sub, Request-Response, Batch), and best practices.

    • Own the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform strategy, including API-Led Connectivity and C4E (Center for Enablement) maturity.

    • Design hybrid cloud architectures that leverage AWS and GCP native services (e.g., Lambda, Pub/Sub, SQS, Eventarc) alongside Mulesoft.

    Implementation Oversight & Vendor Management:

    • Lead and govern the implementation of integration solutions, primarily executed by third-party development partners and internal teams.

    • Act as the final escalation point for complex technical challenges across project lifecycles.

    • Conduct architectural reviews and code audits to ensure performance, scalability, and security compliance.

    Process Automation & Optimisation:

    • Proactively identify opportunities for automation and direct the teams responsible for delivering efficient workflow solutions.

    • Oversee the continuous monitoring of system health, performance, and integration stability to ensure optimal operation.

    Governance & Security:

    • Define and govern naming conventions, versioning protocols, and deployment guidelines for all integrations.

    • Ensure that data privacy and security standards are embedded in all system connections and data exchanges, and validate compliance in all third-party deliverables.

    Strategic Planning & Enablement:

    • Develop and maintain the integration roadmap, ensuring it is aligned with the broader business and digital strategy as outlined in our IT Roadmap.

    • Collaborate with Business Teams, Solution Managers and Key Stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture for implementation teams.

    Who you are

    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Experience: Extensive experience in technology architecture or integration engineering, with a significant focus on architectural design and strategy.

    • Vendor & Project Management:

      • Proven experience managing and directing third-party development partners, offshore teams, and external vendors.

      • Strong skills in project oversight, quality assurance, and holding partners accountable to technical standards and timelines.

    • Technical Acumen:

      • Expert-level knowledge of integration patterns and platforms (MuleSoft experience desired).

      • Expert-level knowledge of Cloud IaaS, iPaaS platforms (GCP, AWS).

      • A strong understanding of modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js) and SQL, sufficient to effectively govern development work and perform code reviews.

      • Deep understanding of API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, JWT).

    • Leadership & Communication:

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively articulate architectural vision and manage stakeholder relationships.

      • Strong problem-solving skills to define and resolve complex technical and organisational challenges.

      • Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively identify areas of opportunity.

    The Own Brand Lead is responsible for leading the strategic direction of Ocado Own Brand product development and ongoing quality management. This role oversees existing Product Development, New Product Development (NPD) strategy delivery, and maintains high product standards through rigorous quality assurance and benchmarking.

    The role also has accountability for managing market analysis, project management (including rollout of any design changes), and effectively leading and managing the team of developers. And requires expertise in stakeholder management and a proven track record in Own Brand management and project delivery.

    The Product Technical Manager (12 months Maternity cover) has category responsibility for product, safety, quality and legality for the Ocado Own Brand range. This includes ongoing management of supplier due diligence and product performance. The role is responsible for maintaining supplier and product due diligence across the product category.

    • Be the M&S champion inside ORL and interpret data from multiple sources to identify and understand drivers of over- and under-performance

    • Analyse and understand M&S performance online, create weekly/ monthly reporting & performance updates, and work with M&S to identify priority areas for deep dive analysis and commercial optimisation recommendations

    • Build and run the agenda for the weekly partnerships meeting, shape the content for the Commercial Working Groups and support analysis and prep for the bi-monthly Top to Top Steer Co

    • Align with M&S on the category visibility priority plans and calendar of execution

    We are looking for an AI-forward Manager to lead the intelligent transformation of our Supplier Funded Media (SFM) operations. You won’t just be managing tasks; you will be the architect of AI-driven workflows, utilising tools like Gemini, LLM, Monday.com and FigmaBuzz to architect a technical transformation, automate high-volume media execution, and unlock strategic capacity for the entire team.

    This person will work closely with the SFM Manager to lead the team to deliver media on time and in full, supporting the overall strategy to grow supplier funded media opportunities. This person will be integral to ensuring we successfully deliver against supplier expectations, with the focus on improving the colleague, supplier & customer experience wherever possible. In 6 months, you will leave a legacy by fundamentally changing how the UK’s largest online supermarket handles media. This is a fast-paced implementation role perfect for someone who wants to prove the ROI of AI in a Tier-1 retail environment

    What you’ll do

    • Map complex media lifecycles and architect automated end-to-end solutions.
