    About the team and the role

    Responsible for the day-to-day management of the treasury function while supporting wider finance. You will oversee the company's liquidity, manage cash flow forecasting, and ensure strong financial controls are maintained across the business.

    The position presents the opportunity and challenge of working in both a dynamic and exciting environment within the UK’s largest dedicated online grocery retailer.

    What you’ll do

    • Oversee daily liquidity forecasting, investments, and Revolving Credit Facility drawdowns or repayments
    • Weekly cash flow forecasting, ensuring alignment with receivables, payables, and commercial inputs
    • Provide weekly, quarterly and monthly cashflow forecast variance analysis for senior management 
    • Responsible for covenant management and reporting
    • Lead the annual going concern review and audit with the Financial Reporting team.
    • Develop treasury reporting and improve operational controls.
    • Support the Treasurer with strategy projects(bank migration, Working Capital improvements, lender relationship)
    • Act as the main treasury contact for the wider Finance team.
    •  Inputting to the 5YP for Treasury assumptions and output
    • Working with the Financial Reporting & Controls team to ensure indirect cash flow reporting and forecasting are robust and accurate

    Who you are

    Essential 

    • Exposure to Treasury operations and/or reporting
    • Qualified or studying towards ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) or another professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
    • Proficient excel skills, adept at spreadsheet compilation and analysis reporting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to use technology and data effectively.
    • Comfortable balancing day-to-day with longer-term project responsibilities.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

     

    Desirable

    • 2+ years of treasury experience
    • Treasury operations experience, ideally with exposure to systems projects
    • Experience with projects (bank account migration, H2H implementation, Treasury best practices)
    • Supply Chain Finance Projects
    • Some experience of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion)

    The Transformation team is responsible for planning, sequencing and executing a portfolio of exciting transformation projects across the business. The Transformation Programme Lead has overall responsibility for a portfolio of transformation projects, supporting the business to land key strategic priorities. The portfolio is broad in remit, ranging from developments to our customer proposition to complex cross-functional change programmes. They lead and are accountable for every stage of the project lifecycle, from concept development and business case, to design and implementation.

    The role works closely with a wide range of teams from across Ocado Retail, Ocado Technology & Ocado Logistics, coordinating and driving activity across functions. A key part of the role is building strong relationships and managing stakeholders at every level of the business, including regular reporting to senior executives.

    The Transformation Programme Lead will manage a small team of Transformation colleagues, who are expected to independently manage their own projects, and workstreams within larger programmes.

    What you’ll do

    • Lead and manage a selection of transformation projects and programmes. Including planning, coordination, driving and influencing transformation activity across the business
    • Be responsible for reporting progress in a variety of senior leadership forums
    • Lead the solution of complex business problems associated to projects, partnering with Insights & subject matter experts, building consensus among a diverse group of senior leaders
    • Partner with Finance to create robust business cases for transformation projects and lead post-project reviews, including commercial modelling and own the value delivery of each project
    • Champion "the One Ocado Way" for managing projects to own end-to-end value delivery and ensure alignment with the Ocado Retail strategy
    • Build close working relationships across Ocado Retail, Ocado Technology and Ocado Logistics
    • Lead & support professional development of a small team

    Who you are

    Essential

    • Planning & Alignment: Able to structure and architect large scale transformation programmes, own and run multiple projects, developing and tracking against clear and realistic plans in line with the needs of the business
    • Financial Literacy: Understands and can manipulate the drivers underlying a project's payback (capex, benefits case, etc)
    • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong working relationships quickly and work cooperatively within a complex stakeholder environment with a wide range of departments and specialists, tailoring the approach to effectively influence colleagues with other business priorities

    We are at an exciting moment in the development of the Ocado Retail business with a broad base of fundamental business change programmes underway which will create step changes within the business. With the successful implementation of the Ocado Smart Platform we are now focused on leveraging the opportunities this presents, and the Transformation team and delivery of effective change are fundamental to this.

    The Transformation team is responsible for planning, sequencing, and executing a portfolio of high-impact transformation projects across the business. The team is key to ensuring the organisation is prepared for upcoming changes, managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, and guaranteeing that business benefits are fully realised and changes are successfully embedded.

    The Change Manager reports to the Change Lead, forming a core part of the change function within the Transformation team. You will play a key role in collaborating with leaders across the business to develop and implement Ocado Retail’s change and transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for engaging with cross-functional teams to embed our change principles, ensuring the successful delivery of transformation programmes.

    This role will involve supporting change in high-profile projects. Your responsibilities will include stakeholder analysis and management, identification and management of change impacts, and the development and delivery of communication and training strategies to aid business adoption.

    • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure the effective adoption of new processes and technologies.
    • Manage stakeholder engagement, including gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and roadblocks.

    As part of our strategic development of product management within ORL, we are creating a dedicated Product Pod for the Ocado Hub. This new, agile team will own the development and innovation roadmap for a suite of critical supplier-facing applications, including Supplier Hub, Promotions, JBP, Ads Manager, and Beet (Ocado’s self-serve data platform).

    We are looking for a skilled and passionate Front End Developer to join this new pod. You will be a key member of the engineering team, responsible for developing and implementing the user interfaces and front-end logic for our new suite of applications. You will work to transform design concepts into responsive, high-performing, and intuitive web applications that deliver an exceptional user experience for our valued supplier partners.

    What you’ll do

    Front End Development

    • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable front-end code for the Ocado Hub applications.
    • Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into functional, pixel-perfect web interfaces.
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with stakeholders to refine them.
    • Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

    Technical Implementation and Delivery

    • Work closely with the Product Manager, Lead Developer, and other engineers to understand requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
    • Participate actively in the team's agile sprint-based workflow, from planning and design through to testing and deployment.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to Ocado Retail's technology standards and best practices.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's development processes and tooling.

    Collaboration and Problem-Solving

    • Collaborate with back-end developers and API teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
    • Work with stakeholders to understand user needs and provide input on the feasibility and design of new features.
    • Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end defects and performance issues.

    Who you are

    Essential

    • Proven experience as a Front End Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful web application projects.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with modern front-end languages and frameworks, particularly JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, React, HTML5, and CSS3.
    • Strong knowledge of front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite), package managers (e.g., npm, Yarn), and version control (e.g., Git).
    • Demonstrable expertise in Agile software development methodologies and working in product-focused teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
    • A solid understanding of web performance, security, and accessibility best practices.

    Desirable

    • Experience in the e-commerce or retail sectors, particularly with supplier-facing platforms or advertising technology.
    • UX experience
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and CI/CD principles.
    • Experience with unit testing and testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.

    As part of our strategic development of product management within ORL, we are creating a dedicated Product Pod for the Ocado Hub. This new, agile team will own the development and innovation roadmap for a suite of critical supplier-facing applications, including Supplier Hub, Promotions, JBP, Ads Manager, and Beet (Ocado’s self-serve data platform).

    We are looking for two versatile and skilled Full Stack Developers to join this new pod. You will be a crucial member of the engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our new application suite. You will work across the entire technology stack to build robust, scalable, and high-quality features that deliver an excellent experience for our valued supplier partners.

    What you’ll do

    Full Stack Development

    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full technology stack (front-end and back-end).
    • Develop user-facing features and corresponding back-end services and APIs.
    • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
    • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application robustness.

    Technical Implementation and Delivery

    • Collaborate with the Product Manager, Lead Developer, and other engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
    • Participate actively in the team's agile sprint-based workflow, from planning and design through to testing and deployment.
    • Ensure all code and deployment artefacts align with Ocado Retail's technology standards, principles, and architectural vision.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's development practices and CI/CD pipeline.

    Collaboration and Problem-Solving

    • Work closely with front-end and back-end specialists, designers, and business analysts to create cohesive and effective solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality and share knowledge.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across all application layers.
    • Contribute to technical discussions and decisions within the pod.

    Who you are

    Essential

    • Proven experience as a Full Stack or Software Developer, with a strong track record of building and delivering web applications.
    • Extensive hands-on experience across the stack with languages and frameworks such as Node.js (back-end), JavaScript/Angular (front-end), SQL.
    • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or AWS), software design patterns, and CI/CD principles, including experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
    • Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and exposure to container orchestration platforms.
    • A solid understanding of web performance, security standards, and accessibility best practices.
    • Demonstrable expertise in Agile software development methodologies and working in product-focused teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Desirable

    • Familiarity with the e-commerce or retail sectors, particularly with supplier-facing platforms or advertising technology.
    • Experience with API design and development (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
    • Ability to design and deploy serverless applications (e.g., GCP Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, AWS Lambda).
    • Exposure to various forms of monitoring and non-functional testing, such as performance testing (e.g., JMeter), load testing, or stress testing.
    • Experience with integration platforms such as Mulesoft.
    • A curious mindset, a passion for learning, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges.

    Team Leadership and Development

    • Collaborate with buyers and suppliers on their joint business plans (JBPs) for mid-tier clients, outlining strategic growth opportunities, product adoption, and campaign excellence.
    • Act as the primary commercial relationship holder for key advertisers, fostering deep, long-term partnerships at the senior level (CMO, Head of Media, etc.).

    Agency Engagement and Development

    • Lead the commercial strategy and engagement with media and programmatic agencies.
    • Educate agency teams on the unique value proposition of Ocado Ads, our first-party data capabilities, and the Ocado Retail customer journey.

    Who you are

    • Proven experience in digital advertising, media sales, or account management.
    • Experience in a leadership/senior commercial role.
    • Proven track record of consistently exceeding large sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
    • Deep expertise in Retail Media, eCommerce, or programmatic advertising, with an understanding of the grocery sector a strong plus.
    • Exceptional ability to build rapport, influence, and negotiate at the senior executive level, both with clients and agencies.

    As an Operations Excellence Senior Associate you will play a pivotal role in delivering key operational projects and continuous improvement. You will be given direct ownership of an operational business area and will work closely with Ocado Logistics to manage day-to-day performance as well as driving forward strategic change projects.     Ocado Ads is undergoing an exciting transformation as we launch our new UK retail media network. This Retail Media Manager is a critical leadership position, responsible for shaping and scaling the media planning function. You will act as the specialist and lead across the full media mix from brand to performance, powered by insights, ensuring we execute and deliver a new, value-driven operating model for our suppliers and commercial teams.

    You will use both analytics and commercial acumen to steer a portfolio of clients and business partner with our internal commercial teams to ensure media plans deliver profitable outcomes. Critically, you will also develop and manage a media partner, own the overall revenue targets for your portfolio, and be a pivotal leader in developing our market-leading retail media and data proposition, always enhancing the customer experience.

     

    What you’ll do

    Commercial Planning & Client Ownership

    • Drive and generate advertising revenue through a consultative sales approach, through strategic delivery of media and data within commercial terms and unlocking incremental revenue streams.
    • Pitch and generate revenue of the Beet Insights platform, through consultative selling.
    • Business partner with commercial teams to ensure supplier media plans are delivering defined commercial outcomes and strong campaign performance.
    • Hold accountability and management of the retail media investment and revenue targets for the supplier portfolio under your remit.
    • Advise and guide suppliers to create strong media plans that help deliver against brand, Ocado, and Customer objectives, across the Ocado Ads portfolio.
    • Be able to pitch compelling, customer-first media plans that are linked to the suppliers’ strategic goals, across the full Ocodo Ads portfolio, on and offsite.

    Strategic Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead and manage a highly engaged, high-performing Media Partner across media planning, Beet usage, supplier relationship management, and internal stakeholder alignment.
    • Foster a new team of Retail Media Managers and Media Partners as the department grows, providing coaching and development as they become industry experts.
    • Be responsible for building out a new operating model for media planning, working alongside buyers to integrate media strategy seamlessly.

    Data, Insights & Cross-Channel Expertise

    • Own reporting of media utilisation and performance (Onsite, Offsite, Beet and overall ROI) to inform future media plans and propositions.
    • Use sophisticated analytical skills (primarily via Beet) to simplify the complex, demonstrating the value of media investments to diverse internal and external audiences.
    • Oversee the strategy and execution of media plans across all channels, including onsite, offsite, and other evolving media formats.
    • Identify larger opportunities (ie. events) and recognise the bigger picture and connect with the wider organisation, translating high-level strategy into simple, executable plans.

    • Strong team management and proven leadership credentials, with experience building or mentoring a high-performing team.

    We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Digital Marketing Executive to support the execution and optimisation of our digital performance strategy for Zoom by Ocado. In this highly collaborative role, you will focus on hyper-local acquisition across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Influencer marketing, as well as act as a key stakeholder for app development and integrations. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, external agencies, and internal tech teams, you will drive app growth in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

    Campaign Execution & Agency Management 

    • Support the day-to-day execution and optimisation of campaigns across Google PPC, Meta, Affiliates, and Partnerships.

    • Coordinate the planning, execution, and tracking of hyper-local influencer marketing campaigns.
    • Support creative, audience, and bidding strategy testing to improve in-app user journeys and conversion rates.

    Trade & Reporting 

    • Monitor daily and weekly performance, identifying risks and opportunities to improve CPA, ROAS, conversion, and retention metrics. 
    • Ensure digital activity aligns with the weekly trade plan and local geographic targets. 
    • Manage channel budgets, optimise spend efficiencies, and provide clear weekly performance reporting for stakeholders.

    Tracking & Tech Integration 

    • Monitor tracking accuracy across GA4 and Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs).
    • Act as the marketing stakeholder for app development tasks, working with developers to ensure tracking and promotional requirements are built into new app releases. 

    Product Development

    • Take ownership of roadmap tasks related to app and web initiatives 
    • Work closely with developers to ensure new app features meet the needs of customers and the Zoom team
    • Support prioritisation and planning of tasks within projects to ensure timely delivery
    • Collaborate across the Zoom team to help design and prioritise new features for the Zoom app
    • Provide clear status updates to senior members of the team and help identify solutions to challenges or constraints 

     

    Who you are

    • Proven hands-on experience in digital performance marketing, ideally within an app-first, retail, or rapid-growth business.
    • Strong executional understanding of Paid Search and Paid Social platforms.
    • Experienced in managing or collaborating closely with external digital agencies. 
    • Highly analytical with confidence in building performance reports (GA4 experience preferred).
    • Commercially focused with a strong grasp of acquisition and efficiency metrics (CPA, ROAS).
    • Exposure to app marketing and MMPs (e.g., AppsFlyer) is highly advantageous.
    • Experience working with developers to implement web and app updates.
