    About the team and the role

    As a Senior Buyer, you will have accountability for a specified category within the Fresh commercial buying team. You will be responsible for ensuring your supply base and product range are optimised, proactively using data and analysis to maximise performance and also drive sales, profitability and growth to support the overall Ocado Retail strategy and goals.

    The Dairy category is a heavily branded space with plenty of room to innovate, and we’re looking for a Senior Buyer to continue raising the bar.

    What you’ll do

    Commercial Accountability

    • Be fully accountable for the category P&L and deliver against all KPIs.

    • Proactively identify opportunities to drive customer penetration and significantly improve the all-in margin by negotiating with suppliers to deliver savings.

    • Plan and execute the comprehensive trade, promotions, and events plan.

    • Ensure zero GSCOP breaches, recording all agreements in writing, and reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt. Always follow the Business Code of Conduct and act with integrity and due diligence.

    Strategy, Range & Innovation

    • Develop the category strategy with support from the Trading Manager/Buying Director.

    • Expertly execute category reviews to refine the range, ensuring all changes align with the business and category strategy.

    • Identify, analyse, and source first-to-market / Ocado exclusive product innovation using deep customer, market, and supplier insights.

    • Support 2 Buyers in delivering their own range and strategy reviews.

    Negotiation & Supplier Excellence

    • Lead complex negotiations to agree upon and deliver market-leading Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that align with the customer plan and category strategy.

    • Manage and review the performance of a complex supplier base, communicating and developing strong relationships to drive high engagement.

    • Work closely with merchandise planning and the supplier base to ensure best-in-class availability.

    • Identify and create plans to mitigate potential issues/events that may impact the supply, and ensure product quality meets all Ocado requirements.

    People Management & Performance

    • Manage 2 Buyers and provide day-to-day coaching and feedback to Category Assistants.

    • Be an expert in data, analysing and assessing performance issues and opportunities using reporting tools, and quickly devising and implementing effective solutions.

    Who you are

    • Significant retail buying experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering breakthrough commercial results.

    • Exceptional negotiation expertise required for strategic, high-value, and business-critical supplier agreements.

    • Proven leadership capability with experience in managing/mentoring

    • Exceptional influencing and executive stakeholder management skills, capable of shaping strategy at a senior, cross-functional, and leadership level.

    • Expertise in complex data analysis; ability to synthesize diverse data sets to define the long-term category vision and strategy.

    • Proven project management capability required to lead and deliver complex, long-term business-wide initiatives (e.g., major range resets).

    • A passion for the Fresh/Dairy categories and the drive to deliver a best-in-class customer proposition.

    Training and Development

    About the team and the role

    We are looking for a motivated individual who will be responsible for all areas of central costs for the business, both own and recharges from Ocado Group. You will have the opportunity to business partner with the Senior Leadership Team ensuring central costs are within budget and to identify any opportunities and savings. You will be encouraged to review existing processes and drive continuous improvements. The role will report to the Finance Manager.

    What you’ll do

    • Prepare analysis of the monthly central cost spend including any variances to budget with value adding commentary.

    • Business partner with the ACE team (Accounting Centre of Excellence) during month end close and to provide support with monthly controls.

    • Monthly review of costs with members of the Senior Team providing insight and support for flash reporting & on landing within budget.

    • Business partner with Cost Centre owners & Heads of Departments to ensure accurate cost control & forecasting.

    • Business partner with Ocado Group to ensure recharges are correct whilst providing challenge on any variances.

    • Own the payroll journal postings and analysis, liaising with the People team to ensure accurate cost centre mappings and people movements.

    • Supporting the Finance Manager to review existing processes and implement improvements.

    • Assist in the development of new financial models, tools, and reports to improve visibility and efficiency.

    • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

    Who you are

    • Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA

    • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar)

    • Experience of budgeting and forecasting

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders

    • Methodical, detailed and organised with a keen eye for detail

    • Strong understanding of central/overhead cost structures and allocations

    • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines

    • Experience with BI tools desirable but not essential

    We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join our EAT Creative team here at Ocado Retail. Over the last year we’ve built a new visual world for our brand and we need you to help us use it to win over new customers in a crowded market. You must be a clear communicator, incredibly passionate about all things motion and design, and foster our team spirit for unconditional collaboration. As Senior Motion Designer you will work closely with our writers, designers and art directors to ensure every project meets a high standard and is unmistakably Ocado.

    What you’ll do

    • This role involves working on paid social campaigns, so you will need to have a strong understanding of all social platforms and content. You will also create our motion guidelines and sizzle reels to showcase Ocado at annual corporate events.

    • You will need strong attention to detail in this role, as you will be working across a range of different touchpoints that need constant production consistency.

    • Collaborating with the campaign art lead and middleweight motion designer, you’ll help define and steer our brand’s motion identity. You’ll use performance data to rigorously test and refine your work, constantly pushing technical boundaries to ensure we deliver high performance creative, that’s bang on brand.

    Who you are

    • You understand how motion captures and elevates brand personality, and ideally you contribute to conceptual thinking, not just the technical execution of motion.

    • You have a genuine obsession with AI in motion and actively push the edge of what AI can do -rebuilding your workflows around it, not just adding on.

    • Excellent communication skills. You can jump on a call, present a concept, defend your thinking, and get feedback without getting demotivated.

    • Okay isn’t enough for you. You care about every frame’s detail and you want to better the work with every project.

    • You’ve got previous experience in a similar role working in a fast-paced, agency/inhouse studio environment, producing work for paid social channels.

    • You’ve previously managed or mentored middleweight and junior motion designers and love to share your expertise.

    • Software-wise, you’re an expert in Adobe Creative Suite, you know your way around a Figma board and you can manage your workflows through platforms like Monday.com.

    • Experience or knowledge of Blender and 3D model capture would be advantageous.

    • Liaise with external and internal Auditors, address requests and oversight of implementation of areas of action.

    • Report on controls and control environment to the Finance Leadership Team

    • Provide controls support in new projects, ensuring that control requirements are proactively identified and integrated into the design of new systems and processes from inception to implementation.

    Who you are

    • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/Qualified by experience

    • Experience of assessing financial controls either through audit engagements or from roles working in industry

    • Experience of implementing and/or monitoring a financial control framework

    • Proven ability to explain technical matters to non-experts

    • Desire to assess and challenge effectiveness and optimise financial processes to drive change

    About the team and the role

    The Digital Marketing team is responsible for new customer acquisition and early customer retention across all channels. The Senior Digital Marketing Executive will develop and execute new customer acquisition campaigns across Paid Social and Affiliates. This hands-on role requires in-depth digital marketing expertise, experience supporting performance focused campaigns, with management of multi-million pound annual budgets and a can-do attitude.

    A key aspect of the role is strategising, building and executing campaigns across Paid Social, primarily through Meta & TikTok to acquire profitable customers at scale. They will work closely with both our internal creative partner and Martech teams to execute and optimise digital campaigns that align with our strategic goals of driving new customer acquisition, ROAS and LTV.

    What you’ll do

    • Work with the management team to plan, implement, and optimise Paid Social campaigns across key platforms Meta & TikTok.

    • Test and launch new Paid Social platforms to reach new audiences and drive incremental gains for the business

    • Monitor and optimise Paid Social & campaigns to improve KPIs such as ROAS (return on ad spend), MOAS (margin over ad spend), FOV (first order value), FYV (first year value) and CPA (cost per acquisition)

    • Develop channel testing frameworks and partner closely with our Econometrician, MarTech team and Insights to drive the test and learn agenda

    • Reporting – pull data for daily, weekly and monthly reports for both creative & performance. Working with the management team, Insights & Econometric teams to track and analyse campaign performance

    • Creative asset management, working closely with the channel owner, Digital Campaign and in-house creative teams, for delivery on Paid Social

    • Support on Affiliate, Influencer, Collaboration ads & Retail Media activity with the channel owner. Help optimise and grow the channels and identify new partners and opportunities.

    • Understand Ocado’s customer segments – what makes them tick and how we can acquire and retain more of our priority segments

    • Ad-doc tasks across the wider Digital Marketing team such as raising POs, invoicing, supporting where needed

    Who you are

    • Proven experience of hands-on, dedicated experience managing and optimising significant budgets across Paid Social. Agency or in-house experience is acceptable

    • A strong understanding of trading KPIs: CPA, ROAS, CPC, CTR, CPM, Conversion rate, margin and how to influence them

    • Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Collaborative – you possess excellent communication skills, capable of building productive relationships across the organisation

    • Curious & eager to learn – you are naturally inquisitive and keep to up to date with the latest industry trends and news

    This role will be joining the Operations, Supply Chain and Stock Finance team, we look after all things operational, from stock inbounding through to the management of our fulfilment and last mile spend and performance.

    The Finance Operations team are key business partners to the internal Operations team and work closely with our partners at Ocado Logistics; we strive to provide best in class insight & analysis into operational spend & investments to help drive improved profitability. With exposure to senior stakeholders and management of more than £900m worth of operational costs it’s an exciting role which has a real impact on the business.

    Reporting to the Operations Finance Manager, the role is pivotal in challenging and analysing operational costs and fees, involvement in project work, as well as providing insight for monthly packs, forecasting and budgeting processes.

    What you’ll do

    • Business partner the internal Operations team, and both Ocado Logistics and Ocado Solutions, tracking and challenging all Operational and Fee costs for the Ocado.com and Zoom businesses (>£900m annually)

    • Support the Finance Manager in monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and 5YP processes

    • Provide monthly performance commentary and analysis for the quarterly Network Profitability sessions

    • Support on Ocado Logistics van strategy for new leases and lease extensions
