The Aim for Our Graduate Talent

We’re all for developing top talent at Ocado Retail, and our Graduates are a huge part of that. So, our goal for any colleague on a Graduate Scheme is for them to be our retail leaders of the future!

To do that, we have an engaged support network for our Graduates, who work together to drive our culture and build cross-functional networks and skills through our schemes that benefit both the individuals and the teams they work with.

Starting with a bespoke Induction to Ocado Retail and your team, you’ll have the opportunity to take responsibility early on. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, though we’ll be here to support you the whole way.

The streams come together for induction into the whole business at the start of the scheme, as well as regular learning and development sessions (and of course the odd social event!).

So, if you are looking for an exciting first step into online retail at a fast-growing business, there is an Ocado Graduate scheme, just for you!

All Graduate Schemes commence September 2025.

Start Dates

When will you hear from us?

We’ll take a look through each application and whether successful or not, we’ll aim to get back to everyone within 2 weeks of the closing date.

We love that we get loads of amazing applications for our graduate schemes. To recognise that, we aim to keep you informed throughout the process. But, that can take a bit of time, so please so bear with us between stages.

We treat all applications respectfully and fairly so unfortunately, if you miss the closing date we won’t be able to make exceptions to extend stages. This wouldn’t be fair to those candidates who have completed them!

How will we contact you?

Email, so make sure you’ve added careers@ocadoretail.com to your safe senders.

Hear what our current grads have to say

I have enjoyed learning about Ocado as a company and what the work and working environment are like. The first week phased us into life at Ocado very nicely, and we were able to spend time with all of the graduates and establish a small community of people who will become familiar faces around the office. The second week I began my first rotation and have been working independently almost immediately (doing training) and have very quickly been made to feel part of the team.
Esme Wase (Insights)

Your first week working at Ocado Retail is just with the other grads, which is really nice as you get to know one another and get a proper introduction to the company. Before starting with your team, we got set up on everything properly, had the time to ask any questions and were given talks from suppliers and the Senior Leadership Team. Not only was this really fun to get a bit of a behind the scenes before starting with the team of my first rotation, but everyone is so lovely which definitely helps!
Anna Ralls (Marketing)

There are 4 rotations, each of which are in a different area of the business. These rotations give you a chance to meet new teams, work on varied projects, and widen your skillset so that by the end of the scheme you are a valued member of the Ocado Retail team, and can flourish in your next role. When starting the first rotation everyone is very accommodating, and you are not thrown in the deep end! There is a real sense that everyone lives by the ABC values of the business, and only 3 weeks in I already feel very welcome at Ocado Retail.
Mark Anderson (Data & Insights)

I have really enjoyed how welcoming everybody has been, and how passionate people are about their roles within Ocado Retail, and how willing they are to share their insights and knowledge. I really appreciate the autonomy we have over our training, and how we’re encouraged to ask questions and work on areas that we are particularly interested in.
Emilia Champman (Insights)

A vibrant welcoming place to work, you are given all the training and learning you need to develop, we are given responsibility and support from day one making you feel valued. The rotations allow you to experience various aspects of the business too.
Harriet Northover (Buying)

Amazing company culture, lots of investment into you for training, you will be assigned to a team which aligns with your interests.
Adam Eccleston (Insights)

We're all sold out on grad programmes for now! But don't worry, new slots are coming soon. Keep your eyes peeled for the next round of exciting opportunities!
